2014 Reading Challenges!!!
It’s a brand new year, so it’s time to find some new reading challenges. I’ve never done a reading challenge before, but I think it will be a fun experience.
Here are some challenges I decided to participate in (so far):
- The Goodreads 2014 Challenge: Last year I found out about this challenge halfway through the year, so I got a late start. I set a goal for 50 books and I didn’t quite reach it. So this year I challenge myself to read 60 books. This will prompt me to read no matter how busy things get throughout the year.
- 2014 Read Your Freebies Challenge: This challenge is hosted @ The Book Vixen. It’s a great challenge if you have a e-reader! I know I have accumulated and bought a lot of free books over time. Basically it’s good challenge to actually get you to read all those good freebie finds. I’m going for the Penny Pincher level-24 books.
- 2014 Standalone Reading Challenge: This challenge is hosted by Dizneeee’s World of Books and IceyBooks. I really like this challenge because I get to read YA standalone books. It will be nice to read just one book, instead of series (since the list of series I read is getting out of hand). Plus I might find some awesome new reads.
- 2014 Quick Fix Challenge: Hosted at Jessie’s Book Place. Reading books less than 300 pages seems like an attainable challenge. I’ll go for the Paperclip level-15 books.
I’m super excited to take on these challenges! I could sign up for twenty, but I think I’ll start off with four first, so as not to get ahead of myself. I hope you all will participate in these challenges, even if you’re not a blogger. Happy Reading! 🙂
These sound like really good reading goals! Good luck!
Thank you! I’m going to try my hardest to complete all these challenges!
