What I’m Listening To: If You Feel Like Singing…
Hello readers! I love listening to music of all genres on a daily basis. I can’t go a day without popping on some headphones and listening to some upbeat tunes while I dance around my room or relax from a long day by listening to calming songs. In this blog post series, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite song picks with you in a mini-playlist of five songs.
In this monthly edition of “What I’m Listening To” I decided to pick songs about singing for the theme. It doesn’t matter if you’re good or bad at singing, it’s feels great to belt out your favorite tune out loud and release stress. I do it on a daily basis plus karaoke has always been one of my favorite pastimes. This playlist includes wonderful songs about joys of singing!
1) If You Feel Like Singing, Sing by Judy Garland
If You Feel Like Singing, Sing is a song featured in the musical film Summer Stock starring Judy Garland. With a lovely, upbeat melody and Judy’s signature vocals, this song is sure to put a smile on your face. The song talks about the happy feeling you get whenever your sing heart out.
2) Sing by Pentatonix
One of my favorite songs off of Pentatonix’s album is Sing! It’s a high-powered, anthem style track that always makes me dance. The vocal harmonization on this track is solid and I love how the MV shows people from different walks of life dancing their hearts out.
3) Sing a Song by Earth Wind & Fire
One of my favorite songs from the legendary soul group Earth Wind & Fire is my next pick (I was practically raised on their music). It’s a feel-good track that will make anyone get up and dance. It’s a must-have song for parties and family gatherings. The vocals and instruments in this song are golden!
4) Singin’ In The Rain by Gene Kelly
What playlist about singing would be complete without this classic track from the musical movie Singin’ In The Rain. Not only is this scene/song iconic in movie history, but with a happy, melodic song about dancing in pouring rain, how could you go wrong?
5) Sing by The Carpenters
Last on my playlist is the The Carpenters rendition of one of my favorite childhood songs from Sesame Street. It’s an absolute classic and it’s fun to sing along with. Karen’s (Carpenter) soft vocals really shine on this track and listening to this rendition gives me a lot of nostalgia.
I hope you enjoyed this mini playlist! What are your favorite songs you love to sing out loud? Comment below with your picks.

Well my favorite to sing aloud is Pocketful of Sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield. That song always makes me happy and feel refreshed.
Same here! It’s got one of those catchy beats that you just can’t resist!
Exactly!
