Review
This book is like any of my favorite Korean dramas that I’ve watched and enjoyed in the past, so I was absolutely hooked into this novel from page one! Natalie is a hardworking woman who takes her career very seriously and she wants to make the best life for her niece so she can gain custody of her. Garrett is the heir to the Hansol Company but wants to pave his own way. His grandmother wants him to marry a chaebol heiress. And so the two enter in a marriage of convenience. Its got all the romance tropes i know and love with funny lines such as:
Natalie sighed, bone-deep tired from being lonely. This had to be the most unromantic wedding night in the history of contract marriages. In the romance novels she read, the fake couples at least played chess or watched Die Hard together.
Temporary Wife Temptation reads very quickly and is overall and entertaining romance. I liked that while Natalie and Garrett are dealing with their budding romance they also help each other with their grief. Both are struggling with the loss of a close family member. They do realize that they pain doesn’t go away, but they can help each other gain strength to heal from the pain. Another fun aspects of this novel is that the cat and mouse game between the couple. The witty banter, and flirtatious looks had me hooked into the romance. The attraction was always there but seeing the two fall for each other was incredibly sweet.
This book was a joy from beginning to end! I enjoyed the characters, and the way the romance developed. I can’t wait to read more from Jayci lee!

About the Author
Jayci Lee writes poignant, funny, and sexy romance. She lives in sunny California with her tall-dark-and-handsome husband, two amazing boys with boundless energy, and a fluffy rescue whose cuteness is a major distraction. She is semi-retired from her 15-year career as a defense litigator, and writes full-time now. She loves food, wine, and travelling, just like her characters. Books have always helped her grow, dream, and heal. She hopes her books will do the same for you.
