A Month of Favorites: Top 5 Favorite Blog Posts of 2014

Today’s Post: Top 5 Favorite Blog Posts of 2014

I had a lot of fun participating in “A Month of Favorites” this December. I hope you all enjoyed these posts and I look forward to participating in more blogging events in 2015!

I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to spotlight my own posts or other bloggers. But in the end I decided to spotlight some of the posts I enjoyed writing the most in 2014. It was a bit hard to pick just 5, but here are my top picks!

1) Adventures in ESL!

I couldn’t just pick one post out of all of them, but I really liked to writing and reflecting about my student teaching practicum. It was a completely new, but fun experience and though I’m still new to teaching, I look forward to honing my skills and teaching more in the future.

2) Slice of Life: Amazing Library Tour

A post that talked about the most fascinating and first library tour that I took at the main branch of the Detroit Public Library. The architecture and art were incredible! I could have spent hours in there!

3) Book Tag Thursdays: A to Z Bookish Survey

This was probably the longest book tag I have ever done in 2014! It was so fun though to see what answers I came up with, but I’ll admit it was challenge to actually pin down answers for some questions.

4) 10 Expressions of a Bibliophile (As Told By Memes)

Self-explanatory. I laughed at a lot at the bookish memes I found online while trying to pick the best ones to fit each expression!

5) 1 Year Blogging Anniversary!

My first big achievement! One year of blogging anniversary in April 2014! I am so grateful to have gotten this far!
