What I’m Listening To…Halloween Party Vol.3

Hello readers! I love listening to music of all genres on a daily basis. I can’t go a day without popping on some headphones and listening to some upbeat tunes while I dance around my room or relax from a long day by listening to calming songs. In this blog post series, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite song picks with you in a mini playlist of five songs.

For this month’s edition of “What I’m Listening To” I decided to supply you with some spooky tunes for Halloween! This time around I chose some classic or vintage Halloween-themed tracks or songs that have a supernatural theme to them. Enjoy! *To see last year’s picks, click here!

Ghostbusters by Run-D.M.C.

Nothing like Run-D.M.C. to kick off this playlist with their hip-hop twist on the Ghostbusters film. It’s a track that gets me dancing instantly with the 80s synth beats in the song’s melody. It’s a song sure to get you and guests on the dance floor.

Bewitched by PIXY

This K-Pop girl group has a horror concept and track list that makes it suitable for spooky season. Bewitched is sure to put the listeners under Pixy’s spell. The melody is high energy but equally eerie as well. The cinematography of this music matches the concept of this song so well.

You’re Dead’ by Norma Tanega

This catchy song is the theme song for the popular show, What We Do in the Shadows, which is about vampires. That alone makes it a good song to add to your Halloween Party playlist. It’s catchy guitar melody will have you humming along to the lyrics and tapping your toes to the rhythm.

Devil in My Car by The B-52s

I love the B-52s upbeat go-go style music and this song is equally bouncy and creepy! The lyrics talk about an unwanted passenger in the backseat that the driver is spooked by. It’s got that fun, eclectic sound that listeners of the group love.

Maneater by Daryl Hall & John Oates

Closing out this playlist is one of my favorite Hall & Oates songs! The theme of the song can’t be more perfect for the Halloween season.

And that concludes my Halloween Party playlist! What songs do you recommend? Let me know in the comments below!
