My Top 5 Spring Bookish Picks!
Hello readers! Spring is finally here, despite the chilly weather we’ve having! I wanted to share my top picks for fun bookish/literary items for spring. Though some of these items aren’t made specifically for spring they are definitely on my own wish list and I think they are great for the season!
1. Bookish Dress
This simple grey, dress is a nice outfit for spring or summer. Since spring is a bit chilly, I could see this dress paired up with leggings or tights, or even jeans. It also can be work with a cardigan or light sweater. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and fashionable. I’m always looking for new bookish clothing to wear. Price is $37.
2. Great Gatsby Book Tote
Spring cleaning does not only mean clearing out old books and tidying up your bookshelf, but using that new extra space to buy new books. And what better way to carry them around than a bookish tote? Gatsby (sells for $16.99) is just one of the many book totes out there to choose from. I love using book totes to carry my books, when I’m on the go. They also double as a purse for me too.
3. Tokyo Milk Perfume
I’ve been eyeing book perfumes for a while now, ever since I heard about their great existences. Bibliophiles can’t deny the sweet smell of a book. If anyone has ever tried book perfume, please let me know if you’ve liked it! This particular one by Tokyo Milk is priced around $30 and is somewhat reminiscent of the book smell, but is a combo of white sage, birch wood, and other light scents.
4. Comic Book Nail Art
How cool is this?!!! I’m a huge fan of graphic novels and comic art so I would love to get my hands on these. They are cute and stylish, plus I like that decals are easy to use. I don’t get to fancy up my nails too often since I’m on the go, so these decals are awesome! Plus, they include one of my personal favorite superheros, Wonder Woman!
5. Tea/Coffee Mug
So technically I’m on a mug buying ban, since I currently own too many. This mug is has a cute picture of a girl carrying a stack of books and I love the bright colors used in the illustration! This picture reminds me of when I go to the library for one book, but by the time I head to the checkout desk I’m struggling with a leaning tower of books. I currently own another mug made by the same company and I can guarantee that they are study, and they are inexpensive, selling at the price of $8.95.
And that concludes my list some of the spring-like bookish items on my personal wish list! Comment below with your own top picks and suggestions of cool bookish things! 😀
