Today’s Video: The Book Was Better Than The Movie
This week’s funny video discusses a topic book and moviegoers have been debating for years. Which is better: the book or the movie? The “trailer” two friends hanging out after seeing a movie. One guy who has read the book starts arguing with his non-reading friend that the book was much better than movie since they left out essential pieces and the trailer quickly turns into a plot similar to Inception. I thought this video was pretty funny since they poke fun at this endless debate! And I can agree that I actually have seen some movies that were better than the book.
Question of the week: What book do you think is hands-down better than the movie? And which movie adaptation did you think was better than the book?
I would have to say the novel Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine was way better than the movie adaptation (sorry Anne Hathaway). A movie that I would say that was better than the book is The Devil Wears Prada which was written by Lauren Weisberger. The book was a bit dry.
Have a great weekend! 🙂
