My Top Five Autumn Bookish Picks!
Hello readers! We’re in the midst of fall! I’ve been enjoying watching the tree leaves transform into rainbows of gold and drinking fall themed coffee such as Salted Caramel Mochas. I’m also preparing myself for my least favorite season of the year that follows fall. Hopefully, this winter will be mild! I wanted to share my top picks for fun bookish/literary items for autumn. Though some of these items aren’t made specifically for autumn they are definitely on my own wish list and I think they are great for the season!
*All items can be found and bought on Etsy
1) Literary Pillow
This cool literary pillow made by Narais is a perfect accent to brighten up any room in your home. I love the way the colors pop and the retro typewriter design is great for any reader/writer.
2) Fall Autumn Art
I would love to have something like this beautiful Anne of Green Gables Typography print made by IslaysTerrace adorn my wall at home. The print states,“It was November–the month of crimson sunsets, parting birds, deep, sad hymns of the sea, passionate wind-songs in the pines.” It’s a nice accent to the home with words that truly describe the season.
3) Chocolate Frog Candle
This cute and probably delicious smelling soy candle made by BookishCandles is not only great for your home, but makes a good gift for that one friend who loves bookish things or candles. Heaven knows I don’t need to buy any more candles since I have a box (yes, a box) of candles from Yankee Candle and Woodwick (I may have a slight addiction to candles). This shop also carries a lot of other literary themed candles from books such as Pride & Prejudice and Winnie the Pooh.
4) Hand Painted Bookmark
This hand-painted bookmark made by PeelsandPosies says “Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” It’s a quote from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. I love the way the autumn colors blend in background and the style of font used. It’s affordable and it would make a great addition to my collection of bookmarks.
5) Book Page Envelopes
Call me old-fashioned, but I love writing and receiving letters in the mail in today’s world of technology. These book page envelopes made by EmeraldCut are right up my ally. It’s different from other things I’ve seen before and the envelopes are made out of pages from J.D. Salinger’s Catcher in the Rye.
And that concludes my list some of the autumn-like bookish items on my personal wish list! Comment below with your own top picks and suggestions of cool bookish things! 😀
