August Book Haul!
So this month I did okay with spending money on books….
I tried hard not buy a lot since lately I’ve been trying to give away books to friends/family and donate them to my local library so I can somewhat free up some space on my bookshelves. My room is a tad small and I don’t have the room for another bookshelf. In addition some of those same books I just gave away have been sitting up on my shelf for way too long.
I went to one big used book sale this past month, acquired some new books through friends/family, and I most definitely can’t keep myself out of the bookstores. But I will say I have been buying less whenever I go to a book store and instead I’ve smartly started budgeting for the books I really want to save my moola for.
There’s another big epic book sale I’ll be attending this month so hopefully I’ll won’t end up buying a ton…
……But there are no guarantees….
And now here are the books I bought in August!

I loved Junot Diaz’s writing style! I read one of his short stories and had to pick up The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao and it’s really good so far 🙂
I hope you enjoy the Wrath and the Dawn because it was amazing.
Me too! I hope you enjoy reading Oscar Wao, it’s one of my favorites.
