A delightfully funny retelling of The Prince and The Pauper that romance readers of all ages will enjoy. On a two-week 1,500-mile road trip, Katie and Alex discover the end of the road might just be the beginning of their ‘Happy Ever After’ together.

Review

Dating The Prince is a romantic comedy novel about a struggling actress named Katie who strives to get her big break in Hollywood. She works jobs in order to make a decent living until the day she can stop living paycheck to paycheck. She runs into a handsome prince name Alex and sparks fly, but she isn’t easily deterred from her goals by his dashing looks and personality.

With all the buzz surrounding the Royal wedding of Megan and Harry this book satisfied the need to read a lighthearted royal romance book. Katie brings out the fiery spirit in Alex, and he likes that she’s not traditional since that’s all he knew growing up as a prince. Katie is independent and has the drive to know what she wants in life. He admires that since he doesn’t have much freedom. The two are complete opposites but once they learn more each other they they do have a lot in common. Their witty and playful banter between the two kept the romance aspect exciting. I kept smiling at their tender moments and laughing during their silly antics.

Overall, Dating the Prince was a fun, entertaining, and a easy read. It was so lighthearted and was just the cute romance book I needed it. Though the story was a bit predictable, the characters and plot were still interesting. Recommended for romance fans!
