Synopsis:
Prolific Artist. Prima ballerina.
They burned up the Broadway stage together in his stunning debut, Lady in Red. Now, Zachary Coen and Wilhelmina Allende are household names. They’ve risen to fame. Fallen in love. Bonded over pain and passion for their art. They’re partners in life, but perform on separate stages, and it’s the art sometimes that keeps them apart. This Christmas, they’re leaving their big city island behind for a magical isle in the heart of Paris.
It’s time to rekindle the flame that’s been there from the start, the one that was sparked three years ago on the loggia of the Opera Garnier… (description from Goodreads)
Review:
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Pas De Deux: A Dance for Two so when I learned there was a holiday novella, I was more than elated to read it. It was nice to get re-acquainted with Zack and Mina’s story once again.Such a sweet swoon-worthy and steamy romance! Zack and Mina are such a OTP. They are so open with each other and try to keep a very honest relationship with one another. Their relationship is a work in progress, so they’re far from perfect (but that’s what makes them so real). They put immense trust in each other in order to overcome their obstacles.
It was so nice to read this holiday novella and I’d love to revisit Zack and Mina’s story in a further installment or a spin-off novel. I loved the warmth of them as a couple; enjoying time with their families, reveling in each other’s laughter, and spending time bonding over the holidays. It was cute and cozy! I loved the detail to the landscape when they traveled to Paris. It’s as if I could picture the Christmas light displays myself. My only complaint is that I wanted to read more even though it’s a novella. If you’ve already read Pas De Deux or are looking for a holiday novella to read, check this book out!
