Book Tag Thursday: Bookish Questions Tag
Welcome to my segment where I find awesome book tags throughout the vast, wide inter-webs made by lovely bloggers like you! I’ll hope you’ll have fun and participate with me as well!
Today’s Topic: Must Read Books Tag!
Found At: Read All The Books
1. What book is on your nightstand now?
Halfway through this book. It’s got a very cool concept, but some of the things that are happening in the story are a bit too cliché for my liking.
2. What was the last truly great book you read?
Review to come soon! This book was so incredibly good and I loved the narrative as well as the characters!
3. If you could meet any writer—dead or alive—who would it be? What would you want to know?
There are so many to choose from. I think I would enjoy really getting to chat with Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. She seems like a nice, down-to-earth person. I’ve love to chat with her about her writing process and some of the topics she covers in her books.
4. What books might we be surprised to find on your shelves?
I read a variety of genres, so I honestly don’t think there’s any particularly surprising book on my shelf.
5. How do you organize your personal library?
Alphabetically. Although I hope one day I’ll be able to organize them by color when I have more shelf space. 🙂
6. What book have you always meant to read and haven’t gotten around to yet? Anything you feel embarrassed never to have read?
“digs in Goodreads TBR*
I actually started reading Cinder some years back without finishing it. It keeps getting pushed back on my TBR. I feel so bad!
7. What book did you feel you were supposed to like but didn’t? Do you remember the last book you put down without finishing?
I’ve been getting back into reading manga on a regular basis so I picked up Time Stranger Kyoko because I generally like any story Arina Tanemura writes. But I couldn’t get into the first volume at all. Maybe I’ll try it again in the future.
8. What kinds of stories are you drawn to? Any you stay clear of?
I like anything historical, or with fantasy elements. I don’t like westerns, and though I do enjoy mysteries I’m picky about what books I read from that genre.
9. If you could require the president to read one particular book, what would it be?
Instead of picking one book, I’ll link to this book list compiled by Elle Magazine: http://www.elle.com/culture/books/g29235/donald-trump-reading-list/
10. What do you plan to read next?
I pre-ordered this book in February, but keeps putting pushed on the TBR since I had to finish some library books/review copies. I should be starting this soon and I can’t wait to read it.

I will be looking forward to reading your review for American Street!
Thanks! It should be coming up soon. I’m a bit behind on posting reviews at the moment, lol.
