Today’s Topic: Cinderella Book Tag
Found On: Oh, The Books!
Evil Stepsisters: A Book with Characters you Hate
For The Record by Charlotte Huang
I wouldn’t say I necessarily hated the characters, but I stated before in my review of the book that I was particularly annoyed with the main protagonist, Chelsea. She always talked about how she didn’t believe in herself and she was so pessimistic.
Prince Charming: A Book with a Gentleman
The Story of Beautiful Girl by Rachel Simon
Though Homan (the male protagonist of this story) is separated from the woman he loves (Lynnie) he never forgets about her. When you read about the two lovers past you can see how much Homan goes through in order to protect Lynnie and how much he cherishes her. He treats her like a lady should be treated.
Cinderella:A Character that is Graceful, Kind and Defiant
The Girl From Everywhere by Heidi Heilig
Nix is such an amazing protagonist in this novel! I think she’s a combination of these characteristics because she always looks our for her (ship) family, fights for what she believes in, and is adept at her skills.
Fairy Godmother: A Character that Always has Someone Looking Out for them
P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han
One of the reasons I admire this series so much is because of the tight-knit bond between the Song sisters. Laura Jean is always looked after by her friends and family and in return she lends a hand to them in need.
Helpful Creatures: Something that Makes you Happy when you’re Sad
Bee and PuppyCat by Natasha Allegri
Any funny, cute, or fluffy stories like Bee and Puppycat. This series is enjoyable and fun.
Pumpkin: A Character with a Transformation
Third Daughter (Royals of Daria #1) by Susan Kaye Quinn
Aniri, the heroine of our story starts in the beginning of the story as whiny, spoiled princess, but when she realizes her kingdom/home is in possible danger she steps up to the plate. Through the course of the story, she transforms into a confident young woman.
Ashes: A Book you didn’t Care for
After reading this book, I’m starting to think that magical realism just isn’t my cup of tea. At times, this story went a little “out there” and I didn’t understand what was happening in the story.
Impossible: A Book with an Ending you didn’t See Coming
The Requiem Red by Brynn Chapman
I thought I had idea of where the story was going to come to a close, but the author surprised me with the ending. There was big cliffhanger, so I am curious to what will happen in the next book.
Just Breathe – Something that Inspired you to be Courageous
The Steep & Thorny Way by Cat Winters
Hana Lee is courageous character who strives to meet her goal no matter what obstacles are in her way. Despite the all of the danger she faces in the novel, she never stops searching for answers. She reminds readers to always seek the truth and fight for justice.
Happily Ever After – A Book with a Perfect Ending
Everything Eveything by Nicola Yoon
Again, I know I’ve mentioned this book many times before (and will probably do so in the future), but the romance and the plot of this book is so good. I enjoyed the romance aspect of the book and it was very sweet without being over the top.

Magical realism isn’t my thing either. I read “Bone Gap” and was not a fan.
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one.
I love this tag! It’s awesome. And I’m happy to hear that Everything Everything comes out well — it’s been on my list for a while, and I super want it to be good.
You should definitely read it. 🙂
