Today’s Topic: Emotions in Colors Book Tag
Created By: Paper Fury
1. BLUE → BOOK THAT MADE YOU SAD.
It’s a really touching, but heartbreaking story at the same time. I don’t want to give too much of the story away, but the main characters goes through a lot of tragedy and hardships due to the loss of the friend. His friends struggle to deal with his passing and try to heal from it.
2. RED → BOOKWORM PROBLEMS THAT MAKE YOU ANGRY.
When I used to work at my local library I used to hate when people when people left tissues in books to use as bookmarks. It was so gross! (50% of the time they were used)
3. YELLOW → UPCOMING BOOK YOU’D BE HAPPY TO HAVE RIIIIGHT NOW.
It sounds like such an exciting fantasy adventure story! I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about it. Plus that gorgeous cover art!
4. GREEN → FAVORITE UNLIKELY FRIENDS.
I can’t think of any characters off of the top of my mind.
5. GREY → BOOK YOU ARE TOTALLY EMOTIONLESS ABOUT.
I read this back in high school and we did a deep literary analysis of it, but I never understood it then and I still don’t get it to this day. This is one of my least favorite stories.
6. PINK → BOOK ENDING (NO SPOILERS THOUGH!) THAT YOU LOOOOVE.
I’m will share some books with HEA, because those always make me smile!
7. PURPLE → BOOK YOU NEVER REALLY UNDERSTOOD??
I tried to do a buddy read of this book with Zezee With Books and we both DNF’d it. I always struggle with magical realism stories, but this one confused me since I couldn’t follow the story from the beginning. I think this book is just not for me.
8. WHITE → AUTHOR YOU’RE SCARED OF (THEY’RE SO MEAN TO THEIR CHARACTERS!)
There are so many, but some authors that stick out are: Cassandra Clare, Kanae Minato, Mark Vaughn, Chloe Neill. They create some of the best villains I’ve ever seen in their stories and some of their characters go through the most difficult times in order for them to grow in the plot.
9. BLACK → BOOK YOU THINK IS POWERFUL AND INFLUENTIAL.
What stood out to me about this book the most was the theme of gratitude. We often take many things for granted in life and this book reminded me to always appreciate the little things in life.
10. ORANGE → PLAYFUL CHARACTERS WHO ARE JUST TOO ADORABLE.
The MCs of the Lumberjanes, Laura Jean and Peter from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, Sarah Scribble’s comics. There are too many to choose from!
