Found at: Book Coma
Zeus; God of the Sky and Thunder/ King of Gods: Favorite Book (choose your own category)
The Girl From Everywhere by Heidi Heilig
This is my top favorite read of 2016! Go read it and explore its wondrous world of time travel and pirate ships!
Poseidon; God of Seas and Earthquakes: A Book that Drowned you in the Feels
When We Collided by Emery Lord
This book literally almost had me in tears at various points of the story. The novel is very realistic and it does a good job of exploring a variety of topics such as: grief, depression, family, and mental illness.
Hades; God of the Underworld: Favorite Book with a Dark/Ominous Plot
The Masked Truth by Kelley Armstrong
I just finished this book the other day. The story follows a girl who is haunted by the brutal murder of the couple she was babysitting for. When she goes to therapy camp alongside with other teens the group is taken hostage by masked men. This book was a dark thrill ride!
Hera; Goddess of Marriage and Family: Cutest Fictional Couple
Attachments by Rainbow Rowell
Even though the main male lead, Lincoln, is slightly stalker-ish by reading the emails of girl who he has a crush (which is a total invasion of privacy despite what his job entailed. The two characters don’t meet face to face until the end, and I thought it was a cute couple.
Athena; Goddess of Wisdom, Handicraft, and Strategic Warfare: Series with the Best World-building
Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon
I think Gabaldon does a fantastic job of in this historical fiction series. The world building in this series as well as the attention to historical detail is very well done.
Aphrodite; Goddess of Love and Beauty: Most Beautiful Cover on a 2016 Release
Saving Montgomery Sole by Mariko Tamaki
I love the watercolor effect as well as the vibrant colors used in the cover art of this book. It’s reflective of the themes presented in the book and the main character’s description.
Ares; God of War and Bloodshed: Most Violent Book you have ever Read
Battle Royale by Koshun Tamaki
This novel is about a class of junior high school students who are taken to a deserted island where, as part of an authoritarian program. They are given arms and forced to kill one another until only one survivor is left standing. It’s a great novel (and movie), but it’s so gory and definitely not for the faint of heart.
Hephaestus; God of Blacksmiths and Fire: Scorching Hot Swoon Worthy Character
I can’t think of one right now.
Artemis; Goddess of The Hunt and Virginity: Favorite Kick-Ass Heroine
Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Cordova
I really loved the main character, Alex, in this novel. She may not always be confident, but she finds the strength to carry on in her journey in order save her family from danger. She’s resourceful, bright, and talented!
Apollo; God of Light and Healing: Sequel Book that Redeemed its Series
I couldn’t think of an answer for this one either. Most of the sequels in series I have been reading lately have not had been as strong as the first installment in the series.
Demeter; Goddess of Fertility and Agriculture: Favorite Book Setting
Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling
Because who wouldn’t want to go to a school of wizardry, make new friends, and see magical creatures, and learn magic?

you have made me very curious about The Girl from Everwhere! I received an ARC for it, but haven’t gotten around to reading it yet! Obviously I need to change that soon 😅
Yay! Please read it, it’s such a great book!
Time travel and pirate ships?! Interesting combo.
Yes, the best combo in fiction (if you ask me, lol)!
Ha, great meme! Might have to use this one myself!
Thanks! 🙂
