Never Have I Ever…read a later book in a series before reading the first book
Hmm.. I actually think I have. If I did it was usually by accident because I wasn’t aware of the series order or it’s a series that can be read out of order (as stated by the author).
Never Have I Ever…burned a book
Never Have I Ever…read a book I knew I would hate
I have. Usually, this was the case for English literature books I read back in high school or for my major in college. I had read the book before and didn’t like it or I didn’t like the author’s stories.
Never Have I Ever…wrote a fanfiction about my favorite books
I did back in my tween years. I wrote fanfiction based on one of my favorite shojo manga series. Never published it though. I found it years later though and I had a good laugh re-reading it.
Never Have I Ever…loved a book when I was young and hated it when I got older
I actually have. I know we all change as we grow older and I’m starting to realize some of my favorite novels/series from back in the day are either cringe-worthy or problematic.
Never Have I Ever…dressed up as one of my favorite literary characters
I have not, but I would love to. I have thought of creating a cosplay outfit after one of my favorite literary characters but I’m not sure which one I would pick.
Never Have I Ever…hated a book by an author I love
Plenty of times. I like the writing style but the story ended up not being right for me. I think all readers run into this some time or another.
Never Have I Ever…gone into a bookstore to buy one book and come out with many more
I’m guilty of this on numerous occasions. I’m always finding new books on top of my main objective for going into the store.
Never Have I Ever…read the end of a book before reading the beginning
I have been tempted many times, but I don’t want to spoil the story for myself.
Never Have I Ever…read a book without the dust cover
I can’t say that I have. I know a lot of people that do this, but I’m too afraid to get the book dirty.

Glad you did it too! 😀
It’s so hard to leave the bookstore with just one book… or to leave without purchasing any whenever I show up for work.
It’s a constantly struggle not to leave the store with a new book!
