Today’s Topic: Nightmare Before Christmas Book Tag
Found At: Mother Booker
Sally – A book with a character who loves someone so much and actually gets them in the end
This novella is a second chance romance that was very sweet. There’s a guaranteed HEA ending and sometimes you just need that in a book. I admired the main couple’s deep love for each other.
Jack – A book with a character who longs for more
In this novel, the main character Olivia is a girl trying to navigate her way through high school. She decided that this year will be her “year of yes” in order to push herself to try new things and be more confident in herself. She wants to do more in life and readers get to watch her journey of growth.
Zero – a book with a loyal sidekick
In this Sci-Fi novella, Lindewe, the thief tries to rob a spaceship and profit from the passengers wealth. Though she becomes stuck on the ship and gets caught she has unlikely sidekick by developing a deep friendship with the robots that help man the ship. It’s comedic and I love their banter.
Oogie Boogie – A book with a wicked villain
This novel is incredibly intense! It best be described as true crime blended with romantic suspense. Readers already know who the villain (Alex, the male lead character) of the story is but things get even creepier when his charming persona melts away. This novel had me on the edge of my seat.
Halloween Town – A book with a weird or creepy theme
I thought this graphic novel series would be a bit strange, but I ended up loving it! You’ve got a wandering traveler, magical creatures, witches, and danger around every corner. It’s like a supernatural version of Appalachia.
Christmas Town – a book that left you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside
This is my favorite Christmas anthology read of 2020! It has historical elements, contemporary, and even those stories with a little bit of magic. There is a story for everyone in this anthology. It left me with the fuzzy holiday feelings. It was a cozy romance read and a bit steamy too!
