Today’s Topic: Not Enough Time TBR Book Tag
Found At: Zezee With Books
A BOOK YOU KEEP SAYING YOU WILL READ… BUT DON’T
Wilder Girls is supposed to be a feminist lord of the flies following 3 friends who are under quarantine at a boarding school. I heard it’s very gory, and as much as I love the horror genre I’m not sure if I can handle that in book form.
A BOOK YOU KEEP SAYING YOU WILL READ… BUT HAVEN’T
I love Beverly Jenkins novels and this novella by her is high on my TBR list. It’s a story set with a backdrop of libraries and rare book dealers. It is supposed to have elements of adventure, romance, and murder.
A BOOK YOU WANT TO READ… BUT DON’T HAVE YET
I love the cover art for this heartwarming graphic novel about self-acceptance and friendship. I can’t wait to read it since the blurb said it’s perfect for fans of Studio Ghibli.
A BOOK THAT YOU HAVEN’T SEEN REVIEWED… BUT SOUNDS GOOD
I love cozy mysteries so this novel sounds like it’s right up my alley! It’s a series that takes place in a Los Angeles pet grooming shop. It looks like a fun read!
A BOOK THAT’S BEEN ON YOUR TBR FOR YEARS
I have been meaning to read Born A Crime since it was released. It just keeps getting pushed back on my TBR list. I need to read it soon!
A BOOK THAT INTIMIDATES YOU… BUT SOUNDS AMAZING
I’ve heard many readers say this book was a great read, but I may have to pass on it. Not only is it intimidating, but I don’t think it’s the type of literary fiction I would particularly enjoy.
A BOOK THAT WAS RECOMMENDED… BUT HAVEN’T HAD A CHANCE TO READ YET
Rose of Versailles is a series that was recommended to me by my friend, Justine. it’s a historical manga series that focuses on the lives of two women: the Queen of France Marie Antoinette, and Oscar François de Jarjayes, who serves as commander of the Royal Guard.
A BOOK YOU’RE NOT SURE OF… BUT WILL GIVE A CHANCE
As interesting as this novel sounds with its premise of magic and romance I’m just not sure if I want to read it anymore. Based on the reviews alone, it’s a book people either love or hate.
A BOOK YOU WOULDN’T NORMALLY CHOOSE… BUT ARE CURIOUS ABOUT
The novel explores the plight of a working-class African-American family in Mississippi as they prepare for Hurricane Katrina and follows them through the aftermath of the storm. The theme sounds interesting, but I’ve heard from many readers this book is one that’s hard to get into the story.
A BOOK YOU’VE READ… BUT NEED TO FINISH THE SERIES
This is a fantasy romance series that follows different folktales/familiar stories. I have one book left in the trilogy to read. Each book can be read as a standalone, which is nice so you can read them out of order. The first books cover Phantom of the Opera and the Pied Piper folktale.
A BOOK YOU THINK YOU’LL LOVE… BUT KEEP PASSING UP
This sounds like a novel I would enjoy, but it’s just not that high of a priority on my TBR list. The story does sound intriguing as the blurb describes it as a “mystery novel inspired by Agatha Christie with a dash of Groundhog Day”.

Enjoyed the post. Tidesong sounds cute. I also want to read Rose of Versailles and Music of the Night.
I agree! I’ve heard good things about Tidesong. Music of the Night for sure is a interesting read.
