5 Star Book
I loved this novel so much! It’s a rich fantasy novel with solid world building. I loved the lush scenery, the lore of the world, and the journey that takes place in the overall plot. It was a highly immersive reading experience.
Always Going to Recommend
Kingdom of Souls is a fantasy novel enriched with African culture. You have a evil curse, a mystery surrounding missing children, dark magic, along with many other elements that keeps the reader constantly entertained.
Own it But Haven’t Read It
It’s not that I’ve been avoiding this book as I’ve heard so many good things about it. It just got pushed on the back burner of my TBR piles.
Would Read Again
This galactic series is out of this world. Dawn Among The Stars is a fast-paced Sci-fi/Fantasy novel that had me hooked from the first page. I liked that different parts of the novel took place in different places (on Earth/in Space).
In Another World
I love retellings so when I read The Emerald Wars I was excited. Watson has created a more diverse and inclusive version of the classic tale we all know with LGBTQA characters and POC representation which I appreciated. Oz is such a strange and mystical place!
Back on Earth
This is a fantasy novel that takes place mostly on Earth and on another plant too. It is a novel full of action/adventure mixed with a coming of age story. I really like the character development in this series!

Glad you did it too! 🙂 Shadow and Bone was pretty good. I’d like to continue with and complete the series.
