Best book and/or series that you’ve read in 2016
I discussed this in my Top Ten Tuesday post.
Authors that you’ve recently found and would like to read more of in the new year
Sarah Fine – I read Of Metal and Wishes and I really enjoyed Fine’s fantasy take on the Phantom of the Opera story. I’ve seen other books by her that I’d like to add to my TBR.
Mariko Tamaki – She’s becoming one of my new auto-buy authors and I like the variety of the stories she’s written.
Margaret Atwood – After reading The Heart Goes Last I definitely want to check out more of Atwood’s books. I was really impressed with the world building in the novel and I’ve heard lots of good things by other readers.
Heidi Heilig – Since I gushed about The Girl From Everywhere numerous times this year I’d love to read more of whatever she will publish in the future.
Most anticipated book turned movie/TV show?
I can’t wait for Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events! I loved the books as a kid and from what I saw in the trailer the acting and cinematography looks promising.
Name a character that you wouldn’t mind sharing a kiss with at midnight (if there is one)
I can’t think of a person that comes to mind at the moment, lol.
What’s on your TBR for 2017? (Top 5 will suffice if it’s an extremely long list!)
I already know this will be a top five list since I have way too many books on my 2o17 TBR.
– The Ship Beyond Time (The Girl From Everywhere, #2) by Heidi Heilig
– Allegedly by Tiffany Jackson
– Solutions and Other Problems by Allie Brosh
– History is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera
– The Education of Margot Sanchez by Lilliam Rivera
Any New Year’s Resolutions? (Bookish, blogging, and otherwise)How many books do you hope to read in 2017?
Better time management with blogging, re-do my blog design, concentrate on reading the books I own. I hope to read 120 books in 2017!
Will you participate in the Goodreads Reading Challenge or any others (PopSugar, Read the Books You Buy, etc.)
I think this time around I’ll just do the Goodreads challenge. I can’t keep up with all of the challenges anymore and I just want to focus on small bookish goals throughout the year.

I’ll consider myself tagged! 🙂
I also don’t think I’ll participate in many challenges next year. I never do well at them.
Same here. I just don’t have the time. But the “Read the Books You Buy” challenge has actually been effective for me.
What a fun tag! I had no idea that A Series of Unfortunate Events was turning into a Netflix show! I’ll definitely be watching it when it comes on. So thanks for the heads up! I’m anxiously awaiting all of those 2017 releases on your list, too! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and have a Happy New Year! 🎆🎊
Yes! Go and watch the trailer Megan, it’s so awesome. 🙂 I hope your Christmas was very good too and have a Happy New Year!
All of the authors you’ve listed sound amazing! I’ve heard good things about The Girl From Everywhere so I’ve added it to my list 🙂
Yay! Thanks for creating such an awesome tag! 😀
Thank you!
