Today’s Topic: Spring Book Tag
Found On: Book Coma
1. What’s your Spring TBR?
I really don’t have too much of anything planned, but here are a couple of books I hope to get to before the season ends.
Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton/ Exit, Pursued by a Bear by E.K. Johnston
I just checked both of these books out at the library and am very excited to read them!
2. If someone asked you for a Spring release recommendation, what book would it be?
A Drop in the Ocean by Jenni Ogden
I just finished this book recently and it was so good! (Review coming this week!) It was uplifting story about reinventing yourself and finding your path in life.
3. Which two books are you eagerly awaiting that releases within the next two months?
Most of the books that I wanted to read have already been released in Spring or earlier this year. I could only find one book.
A Certain Age by Beatriz Williams
You all know home much I love historical fiction! A book that is somewhat similar to Gatsby, is set in the Jazz Age, and has a love triangle?! Count me in!
4. Which character would make a great Easter bunny?
I can’t really think of any character.
5. What book makes you think of Spring?
Honestly, no specific books come to mind. When I think of Springtime books I think of stories that are light, fun, and are very easy to enjoy. You would mostly likely find me reading romance, light fantasy, or contemporary books during Spring.
6. Name a cover with flowers on it.
The Ring & The Crown by Melissa De La Cruz
This is always one of first flower-style covers that comes to mind. This was such a fun book!
7. Which two characters would you want to go on an Easter egg hunt with?
Becky from Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella, because we would ditch the egg hunt all together and go on a fabulous shopping spree.
Alana from Saga by Brian K. Vaughn, because she is a bad ass and would also ditch the egg hunt as well. She would probably find something else fun to do.
8. What is your favorite bookish spring activity to do?
Read outside if the weather’s nice.
9. Which book did you enjoy that had a Spring-ish cover?
Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
I know I mention this book all the time, but I just love it so much! The concept is interesting, the romance is sweet, and the characters develop over the course of the story. Plus the flowery cover reminds me of Spring.
10. What is your favorite contemporary author?
I just started reading contemporary books all of the time now, so a lot of the authors are still somewhat new to me. One author whose books I almost always enjoy is Jane Green. Here are some of my favorite books by her:
Another Piece of my Heart/Jemina J

Yep! Alana would so ditch the egg hunt lol.
I love the cover of The Ring & the Crown.
I know right?! Alana is one of those characters that has no time for foolishness, lol. And as for “The Ring & The Crown” cover, I would love to try on that flower crown.
