What book always reminds you of fall/autumn?

Look at this cover! It just screams Autumn with the falling leaves and images of comfort food such as turkey and pie!

What is your favorite autumnal book cover?

It’s a simple cover, but this is one of my more recent favorite Autumnal covers. Maple Sugar Crush is a cute cozy romance read.

What is your favorite autumnal drink to read with?

Hot cider or any seasonal flavored tea. Although I’ve tried a seasonal salted caramel tea before, and it wasn’t as delicious as I thought it would be. Blech.

Do you prefer to read late at night or early in the morning?

I read at both times, but I like reading before bed because it relaxes me before bed in the evening. Although if I’m tired, I sometimes fall asleep while reading at night, lol.

Halloween is coming! What is your favorite spooky read?

Love this graphic novel! Each story depicts its own unique theme such as jealousy between brothers and arranged marriages. Some of the stories are genuinely scary and leave you feeling unsettled, while others are more subtle and discuss things that go bump in the night.

What is the ultimate comfort read for you?

I’ll pick a recent read for this prompt! I love food-themed stories and I recommend Batter Royale which is about a talented young chef who is selected to participate in a baking reality show.

What is your favorite autumnal reading snack?

Pumpkin bread/muffins (I don’t like any pumpkin spice flavored drinks), apple butter, baked apples. But I’m open to trying more autumn snacks.

What is your favorite autumnal candle to burn whilst reading?

I love anything with a warm style scent. Scents like pumpkin vanilla or something with a hint of spice are my favorite. I also really enjoy apple-scented candles. The Apple Pumpkin candle from Yankee Candle is one of my favorite all-time favorites.

When you’re not reading, what is your favorite autumnal activity?

Going to a cider mill. Michigan (my home state) is known for its apples and we have tons of cider mills all over. I love to go to the local mills and look at fall foliage while snacking on warm donuts and apple cider.
