Today’s Booktube Bite: Literary Themed Movies
Found On: WordsofaReader
In this week’s edition of Booktube Bites we get some great literary themed movie recommendations from Booktuber Lesley at Words of a Reader. As an avid movie watcher, I’m always looking for new and exciting films to watch, whether they be blockbusters or indie flicks. I’ll admit I have never seen any of the movies she’s recommended, but one of the films she lists, The Dead Poets Society, has been on my to watch list for quite a while.
When I think of literary themed movies (that weren’t based off of books) I would recommend Ruby Sparks. It’s the most recent literary film I’ve seen and it was excellent. It stars Paul Dano as an anxious novelist whose fictional character, Ruby Sparks, played by Zoe Kazan, comes to life.
Have you seen any of these films? What literary themed movies do you recommend? Share your thoughts in the comments below. Have a great weekend! 🙂
