Today’s Video: Story of a Bookish Fangirl
The viral pick for this week’s Booktube Bites is a fun skit by Booktuber Nicky. On her channel “gigglesmiggles” you can follow her bookish adventures, book hauls, and more! In her skit, Nicky describes and interprets the different types of book fangirls and fanboys you might meet in life. From anger, talker, cry, killjoy, and more Nicky hilariously portrays these types of readers.
This video made me laugh because I could identify with a lot of these types of fangirls. Rather than being one distinct “character”, I’m probably a multitude of all these personality traits depending on what reading mood or the type book I’m reading.
