Today’s Video: Sh*t Book Nerds Say
This week’s viral pick showcases Canadian BookTuber, Andreya, who shares her quirky, off-topic chats in a segment titled “Mug Minute With Drey”. In this particular video, she shares some phrases book nerds use on a daily basis. She says things like “I have way too many books” as she ponders at her overflowing bookshelf. Or when being confronted by friend who asks “What did you do over the weekend?”, she struggles to come up with a cool, but normal answer other than saying “I read all weekend”.
I found this video to be a lot of fun and I could relate to it a lot. Many times I’ve been caught saying these very same things. If I had to choose something that I would say on a regular basis it would be “the book was better than the movie”.
Question of the week: What is something bookish that you always end up saying in a conversation with others?
Comment below and have a fantastic weekend! 🙂

The struggle is soo real.
I know right?! I sit there racking my brain for something interesting to say, lol. The struggle IS real!
Totally agree ^ haha
Lol that one about reorganizing shelves and also trying to do the facial expressions you read about is spot on for me. It took a long time for me to figure out what a smirk was which made reading HP a little hard since Draco smirks so damn much.
What I always say: “I don’t know what to read next,” “I SWEAR I’m going on a book-buying ban now, fo’ real, fo’ real!” “Which book am I going to take with me today?”
I find myself organizing shelves numerous times a month. It seems like I’m never satisfied, lol. And yes! it’s easy for every reader to say they’re going on a book buying ban, but its SO hard!
This video is super cute! I totally find myself rearranging my shelves for no reason to often. I also agree when people ask what did you do this weekend I am hesitant to be like read all weekend, but that is what I did.
I know right! I think readers are always finding new ways to organize our books that’s why we end up rearranging our shelves so often. 🙂
