July & August Book Haul!
Hello all! It’s the end of another month, or rather the beginning of new month, so it’s time for another book haul. I’m so incredibly proud of myself for cutting back on buying books these last two months! I’ve been trying to focus on reading the books that I already own in order to clean up my personal collection and have been obtaining new books through giveaways, egalleys, or borrowing them for the library!
I’ve got a lot of exciting reads lined up for the fall season and I can’t wait to read them all! Here are the books I got in July & August as well as some egalleys I obtained. Keep your eyes peeled for their reviews on my blog this fall!
Also, thank you all for participating in my most recent giveaways. I really appreciate it! For those of you who are longtime subscribers or new subscribers (Hello!) I’ll be holding a couple of giveaways later this year!
Giveaway/Gifts:
Juliet Takes a Breath by Gabby Rivera – Won this in a giveaway hosted by Naz at Read Diverse Books!!!
Review Copies:
The Art of Holding On and Letting Go by Kristin Lenz – I got the opportunity to interview this author for the local press and I can’t wait to read her book!
Wolf Road by Beth Lewis – I love suspenseful thrillers so this book is right up my alley.
Fill The Sky by Sherbrooke – Review coming in November!
Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Cordova
A Change of Heart by Sonali Dev-I actually got to see Sonali in person at RT 2015 and I’ve been looking forward to reading one of her books.
Anna and the King of Siam by Margaret Landon
Trixi Pudong and the Greater World by Audrey Mei (see review here)
The Orphan Mother by Robert Hicks
Bone & Bread Saleema Nawaz
The Bone Sparrow by Zana Frallion
You Can’t Touch My Hair by Phoebe Robinson
That concludes this month’s book haul! What books did you buy this month? What books have you recently added to your TBR? Tell me in the comment section below.

A wonderful haul! I think this month hasn’t so much been about adding books to the TBR as it’s been about finding longtime TBR books at the library on the new books shelves (ie the best shelves in the world).
Except that’s a lie: I spent a good portion of time this evening poring through the spring 2017 catalogs for all the trade houses, and I added a preposterous number of books to my TBR pile for next year.
Thanks! I know the feeling, lol. I’ve got tons of 2017 books bookmarked for next year’s TBR pile too. The struggle is real!
