October Book Haul!
Hello everyone, back with my October book haul. This past month I think I did pretty well overall seeing as I haven’t bought as many books as I have in the previous months. I’m proud of myself.
I’ve been working really hard to save money, as I mentioned last time. The holidays are just around the corner and I actually still have to do some shopping for Christmas gifts, but most of it is done. I also just attended an anime convention where I also stuck to the amount of money I planned to spend. Yay for spending money responsibly!
As for the bit about the holidays being around the corner, the stores are wasting no time at all. Every place I’ve been to and even the place I work at had Christmas stuff out when Halloween products had only been out for not even a month. I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by!
In an effort to save more money most purchases made this past month were bargain books, books received for review, and a few were full price. Alright let’s begin!
From Books-A-Million:
From Book Beat:
From Barnes & Noble:
Books received for review:
And that’s all! What books did you buy in October? Comment below! 😀

Did you have fun at the convention?
Yes I did! It was my fifth year attending! I spent a lot of money on j-pop and fan art posters, lol. I also saw lots of great cosplays, went to AMV wars panel, and even played DDR (haven’t done that in years).
Sounds like fun!
Ohhhh book haul! And how was the Anime Convention? I can relate to spending money at conventions. I even splashed my cash at FanExpo this past summer. I really want to support the artists when possible! Through The Woods has such a gorgeous cover!! And the Doctor Who books look fabulous! hope you enjoy all your books Rachel!!
Anime convention was awesome! Saw lots of people in great cosplay and I went to an AMV wars panel (which is always fun!) The fan art though was amazing, I wanted to buy every poster I saw. Thanks!
