September & October Book Haul: The “Bookish Autumn” Edition
Fall is finally here with its cold days and sweater weather! As the end of the year approaches I’m working on completing my Goodreads goal for 2017. Currently I’m at 133 books out of 150. I’m almost there. I’ve been slacking on my reading as my schedule becomes busy so hopefully I’ll be able to get back into a reading groove.
I’ve also not been buying a lot of books either which was great. I’m still donating a lot of my books, so it feels great to start to see some shelf space. Thanks to all who participated in my Spooktacular Giveaway this month. If you didn’t win, don’t worry! I have plenty of giveaways planned for the future.
Now it’s time for the book haul!
Bought
His Alone by Alexa Riley
A Good Indian Wife by Annie Cherian
Gon, the Little Fox (ごん狐, Gongitsune) by Nankichi Niimi
Japanese Folk Tales by ??? – My translation skills are a bit rusty sorry! This is a children’s book full of traditional Japanese folktales. I’ve been trying to add more Japanese language books to my collection so I can use them for study.
Momotaro (Peach Boy) by ??? – This story has many origins and variations, so I’m not sure who the original author is. Momotaro is a popular hero of Japanese folklore.
