Summer Reading Time!
OMG! It’s summer vacation done and I’m with finals! It is time to live out the life of a bookworm, and read all day and all night!!! After after taking four literature classes over the course of my fall and winter semester, I can read what I want! FREEDOM!
Pretty much sums up my feelings….
Woot! I have some ideas about what to read for this summer, but not a formal list (that will be my next post!). I shall become a hermit and become unhealthily obsessed with fictional characters(nothing that isn’t usual)!
Looking back over the school year I did have some great classes in which I read some pretty good books. The following are Their Eyes Were Watching God– Zora Neale Hurston, The Color Purple-Alice Walker, and even Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. And I also read some books which were not so good and that were painful to read…Pride and Predjudice-Jane Austen(don’t even get me started about how much I can’t stand this book), The Unbearable Lightness of Being-Milan Kundera, and much more….
I’m pretty pumped up to read some new books I’ve heard about and as well as the ones I bought, and find stashed away in one of my several bookcases. My goal this summer is to read 40 books! (I will conquer!) What about you?
I am so jealous you are already on summer vacation. Have fun reading!
Thanks! (Sorry for the late reply^^) You too!
