Tea Time Review: Adagio’s Birthday Tea
Hello fellow readers and tea drinkers! Welcome to another edition of Tea Time Review where I try various types of teas and share my thoughts about them. To see my most recent tea review, click here.
February was my birthday month and I couldn’t resist (out of the many birthday coupons I received) ordering some new teas to try from Adagio Teas. When you order during your birthday month they also add their birthday tea to your order as present on top of getting a discount code. I ordered a fandom tea as well, but I’ll be sharing that tea in a future review.
Adagio’s birthday tea is a: “A treat for any day of the year! A tasty blend of vanilla, cream, and a touch of caramel. The inclusion of rainbow sugar sprinkles adds a festive note and makes this tea perfect for celebrating your special day.”
This tea contains a high level of caffeine and it’s recommended that you steep this tea at 212° for 3 minutes.
Now it’s tea time!
Overall Thoughts
I was a bit wary about trying this tea because it was caramel flavored, which I don’t tend to enjoy that much. (See Salted Caramel Tea review) But I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it! I wouldn’t say that I loved it though. My main complaint would be that I wished the caramel hadn’t overpowered the other flavors of cream and vanilla.
To bring out more of the caramel/sweetness of the blend add sugar. For a more mellow taste steep as recommended. In the future, I think this tea would best be paired with some light desert rather than drinking it by itself. Recommended for fans of teas with caramel blends or a sweet tea as a birthday gift.
Final Verdict:

Happy belated birthday! It looks like you put your birthday coupons to good use.
Thank you! I always to use the best deals I can find when it comes to birthday coupons, lol.
Yummm, that sounds good! My favourite teas taste like desserts – I clearly have a much less refined palette than you!!
I love dessert teas, it’s the caramel ones that aren’t my favorite. But throw chocolate into any tea blend and I’m a instant fan! It is cool that this tea blend has actually sprinkles in it!
