Tea Time Review: Germack’s Serenity Tea
Hello fellow readers and tea drinkers! Welcome to another edition of Tea Time Review where I try various types of teas and share my thoughts about them. To see my most recent tea review, click here.
Since the days are getting longer and the weather is becoming colder, I figured now is the perfect time to do another tea review! But to be totally honest, anytime is a good time to enjoy a good cup of tea. 🙂
For my latest review, I chose the Serenity tea by one of my local favorite places, Germack Pistachio Company. The physical store is located right in the heart of Eastern Market in Detroit (my hometown), but also sells their products online and on QVC. They are not only famous for their variety of nuts/trail mix, but also their delicious coffee and teas (Germack Roasting Company).
Unfortunately, I don’t have access to the list of ingredients that are used to make the tea. It can best be described as a calming & relaxation tea with chamomile including other flavors. I wish I could be more descriptive, but I forgot to write the ingredients down while I was buying the tea (knowing that I was going to review it). Sorry!
My Overall Thoughts:
As with lighter, chamomile blend teas, I steeped it longer to get a fuller flavor. While I steeped it for a full 10 minutes, I’d recommend steeping it from 5-10 minutes depending on how you like your tea.
The first thing that jumped out to me about this tea was it’s lovely and light aroma of chamomile along with mint. I added a bit of sugar to heighten the taste, and Voila! It tasted amazing! It’s not too heavy and it’s caffeine free. Perfect for relaxing before bedtime or cozying up with your favorite book. I also highly recommend Germack’s Vanilla Creme Tea as well!
Final Verdict:
