Top Ten Tuesday: Bookish Things I’m Thankful For
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s topic is a thankful freebie, so I’ll be discussing bookish things I’m thankful for.
1) Being a part of the book blogging community and meeting other bloggers, author, and people within the publishing industry.
2) Getting to connect with other readers and making long-lasting friendships online.
3) The smell of a book. (This never gets old)
4) The feeling of euphoria when walking into a bookstore or library.
5) Bookish themed items that I can use in my daily life/routine.
6) That magical feeling of being transported to another world when you read a book.
7) Being able to open a book and learn about the world around you.
8) Being able to experience the thrill of a scholastic Book Fair as a child and being able to choose what books you wanted.
9) The feeling of snuggling up with a good book.
10) The opportunity to meet your favorite authors, travel to a literary destination, or attend a literary event (such as book convention/midnight release party).
What bookish things are you thankful for? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
Yes, the book blogging community is pretty neat. Good list this week.
My TTT.
Thanks Lydia!
When I was teaching middle school English Scholastic books made it so easy to get the students engaged. https://pmprescott.blogspot.com/2019/11/ttt.html
I agree! I remember how excited my classmates and I got about Scholastic books.
YEP! I agree with all of these. Books make my life better and this hobby has led to some wonderful experiences for me. Same for you, sounds like.
Happy TTT!

I wholeheartedly agree! 🙂
I’m thankful for all these things, too! My parents never let me buy anything from the book fair, though.
What a bummer that you didn’t get to purchase anything. I remember some of the books being so expensive too!
Great list!! I love that I can open up a book and be transported to somewhere I’ve never been. Or somewhere completely imagined. It’s an amazing gift. <3
My Thanksgiving TTT
Thank you!
