Top Ten Tuesday: Books By My Favorite Authors That I Still Haven’t Read
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s topic is Books By My Favorite Authors That I Still Haven’t Read. I have so many unfinished series and standalones from my favorite authors that I are still on my TBR. It feel so bad that they haven’t been read yet. Here are some TBR book picks from my favorites.
All of these books have been sitting on my TBR for two years or more (yikes!) which means I need to stop procrastinating and read them already!
Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella | Talon by Julie Kagawa | The Diviners by Libba Bray
The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black | Saint Anything by Marissa Meyer | The Ship Beyond Time by Heidi Heilig
A Crown of Wishes by Roshani Chokshi | Beloved by Toni Morrison | Gameboard of the Gods by Richelle Mead
What book picks do you have on your own list? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
Oh Beloved is such a good read. Have you seen the movie? I think the movie is also pretty good. Been a while since I’ve read/seen it though.
Cinder is a good read too and a fav of mine. I usually like Cinderella retellings/spin-offs.
Talon I do not like, but loads of peeps do. I hope it works out better for you.
We could buddy-read Diviners in December, if you’re interested. I have a copy and am interested in reading it.
I don’t think I’ve seen Beloved yet, maybe another of Morrison’s adaptations? I should probably read Cinder and Talon soon. A buddy read for the Diviners in December (I feel like I should design a logo, it’s sounds so catchy lol) sounds great! Libba Bray is such a great author.
Yeah, def see the movie. It’s good. Oprah was in it too.
Lol ikr! Diviners in December has a ring to it.
We can make it a mini blog event, lol. I might just make a logo now, it sounds fun! 🙂
Oh, that sounds fun! I’m up for it.
Yay! 🙂
I had kept the Ship beyond time on my TBR for a very long time. Now the excitement has died out and I even forgot about it until now.
I need to start reading sequels right away, otherwise I keep forgetting about them.
Ah I really want to read The Ship Beyond Time, I enjoyed the first one, but I haven’t managed to find the second one in the UK yet.

I hope you’re able to find a copy of the sequel soon. That’s a bummer!
I hope so too!
I really enjoyed The Girl From Everywhere & The Ship Beyond Time! Such a unique concept.
I agree. I love how time travel is combined with traveling the high seas. 🙂
