THE RULES:

- Answer the questions.
- In the spirit of sharing love and solidarity with our blogging family, nominate 8-13 people for the same award.
- Ask them three questions.
The Questions
Do you loan out books? Have you ever gotten one back damaged, what would you do if a friend returned a book slightly damaged?
I do loan books, from time to time. I’ve only had two books damaged as far as I can remember. From those times I do recall, the damages were small, so I was extremely irritated with them. One time the damage to a book was so bad that I never lent that friend a book ever again.
Giving books soundtracks is a thing, this is the reverse: if you had to pick an album to adapt into a book which album would you pick?
Paramore’s Riot album. It’s a mashup of breakup anthems as well as songs about falling in love. I could see it translated into a contemporary book.
Go-to book reading snack or drink?
Oh that’s a hard one, because I eat and drink while reading. But seeing how accident prone I am with reading books and having food, I’ll choose drink. My go to drink is usually tea or coffee, depending on the time of day.
I NOMINATE:
Lily @ Lair of Books • Joana @ Bookneeders • Sam @ Clues and Reviews • Megan @ Bookslayer Reads • Jenny @ Reading The End • Wendy @ What The Log • Emma @ llady Literary • Nancy & Kathleen @ Graphic Novelty • Morgan @ Backlist Babe
My Questions:
- What bookish destination would you travel to and why?
- What are your top three bookish pet peeves?
- If you could direct any book into a movie adaptation, which one and why? Name some actors/actresses you would you cast and what location/s would you shoot it at.
Awesome tag Rachel! I don’t loan out my books anymore, my sister returned a paperback so bent up one time I nearly cried HAHA! I’d rather just gift a book. Thank you for tagging me <3! 😉
Your welcome! Same here, my friend bent up my paperback and I was furious.
Congratulations! I bet there are lots of us who drink tea while reading. I drink coffee sometimes, but only rarely.
Thanks Amal! 🙂
Thanks for tagging me! Tea is my go-to as well 🙂
You’re welcome!
Coffee for me as well! Cookie dough as well, I have to say — I’ve discovered this brand of cookie dough that comes in a jar and is meant to be eaten raw (no eggs), and it’s a lovely treat to consume along with reading.
I’ll have to have a think about your questions! They’re such good ones!
Yay! For some reason, I’m like the only person who’s not a fan of cookie dough. But I do like cookie dough ice cream. The flavor is a bit too sweet for me, which is weird because I have a sweet tooth.
Haha I don’t lend out books anymore either. I lent out a copy of The Forgotten Garden and a copy of Jane Eyre (my favorite book) and never saw them again. I still miss them lol
Oh no! That’s horrible. 🙁
Congrats on your award.
I must say, you’re a brave soul to be lending out your books.
Lol, I only lend them out to a couple of people, who I know are extremely careful about the way they treat books. Other than the few, I don’t lend them out anymore.
