What I’m Listening To…Summer Cruisin’
Hello readers! I love listening to music of all genres on a daily basis. I can’t go a day without popping on some headphones and listening to some upbeat tunes while I dance around my room or relax from a long day by listening to calming songs. In my segment “What I’m Listening To” I share some of my favorite song picks with you in a mini-playlist consisting of five tracks.
Time to soak up the sun! It’s Summertime and this month’s playlist is themed around songs for Summer travel and cruising in your car. These are songs meant to inspire travel and warm weather vibes.
Remember Summer Days by Anri
This is a song that has the essence of a warm summer evening and all the nostalgic feelings that summer can give you. It’s a jazzy pop tune from Anri who had some amazing hits in the 80s. It’s funky and retro combined.
Far Away by Easha
This is a song that sparks wanderlust as it has lyrics about hopping in your car and traveling to new and exciting destinations. It’s a great song for Summer cruising and a track that’s great for a road trip with friends or family.
We Ride by Brave Girls
Another track with a light, retro feel and funky bass line is We Ride. The music video not only channels the bright imagery of the season but the fun of going out on a drive. It’s a song that always makes me dance and sing along to the lyrics.
Tonight by Alaina Castillo
If you need a track that is very upbeat Tonight is the song for you! It’s so fun and its lyrics talk about letting go of your worries and dancing the night away. A great track for a Summer party!
Summer Feelings by Lennon Stella, Charlie Puth
Based on the song title alone this song give any listener instant beachy vibes. I actually listen to this song whenever I’m taking long drives in my car.
